There are many dangerous creatures out there, lions, tigers and bears. Some are poisonous, and others have large jagged teeth. There is however a more deadly villain out there who is ten times more lethal than any other animal out there, and they are know as the Parasitic Round Worms. We are not talking about the worms you see in the dirt though they are Round Worms too, I am talking about the parasite that seeks to live off of your flesh in your body, lay eggs in you, hatch, then eat you from the inside. The scientific name for them are nematoda. A class of worms, Modern Latin compound of nemat- "thread" (from Greeknema, genitive nematos "thread," from stem of nein "to spin". A phylum of worms including species parasitic in humans and plants as well as free-living nonparasitic species in soil or water. It includes the intestinal roundworms and filarial roundworms.
Here's how it works, from an already infected animal, releases faeces with worm eggs and larva. Somewhere along the line, a healthy dog or human comes in contact with it, it's easier for the dogs, or small children to get in contact with the worms. The dogs could ingest the faeces or get close enough to it for them to attach onto the dog. It doesn't have to be directly from the faeces, small children could be playing in the grass then when it's time to eat, they don't wash their hands and ingest it then. While in the intestines, the worms can go anywhere they please in the body, eating their way through inch by inch. Laying their eggs inside, making more worms, and so on. Some worms are passed through the faeces of the new host awaiting for another victim to come by. This is why you must watch your children and your animals. It's also not just animals and small children. Undercooked raw meat such as fish, sushi, lobster, crabs, any of these could have worms, especially if it's from a foreign country. Make sure your food is cooked at a safe temperature .
